Natalie Malla is a writer, and director for film and TV.
Her original Comedy Drama:Crow’s Feet, won the Bafta Rocliffe New Drama Writing Forum in 2013 and her original sitcomHow To Be Normal co-written with Xara Higgs was shortlisted for the Funny Women Comedy Writing Award in 2015. Natalie’s first short film,The Girl In The Dress, part funded by Film London and starring Olivia Poulet, and Nick Helm premiered at the 2015 London Film Festival, and was nominated for best writer at the 2016 Underwire Film Festival.
Killing Thyme, which Natalie wrote, and produced won Best of Festival at the 2016 Carmarthen Bay Short Film Festival and won the Audience award for best narrative short at the 2016 Austin Film Festival.
Her latest short film Crush Hour simultaneously premiered at the London Short Film Festival and Borrego Springs Film Festival this January. It also won an Award of Excellence at the One Reeler Online Film Festival in LA and was a finalist in competition at the World Of Women Film Festival in Dubai in March 2018.
Her webseries Acting Up, co-created with Jordan Baker was nominated for Best Director, Best Actress and Best Web Series at the UK Offline Web Fest and won for Best Actress.
Alongside her writing and directing work, Natalie is an accomplished script editor and script doctor and completed three feature script polishes in a variety of genres for independent producers in 2017.
Natalie also worked with Steven Knight, Tom Hardy and Chips Hardy when she Script Edited onTaboo. Produced by Scott Free and Hardy Son and Baker Taboo screene
on BBC and FX in 2017.

Jordan is currently represented by BIll Petrie & Joe Hutton at The BWH Agency, in London.

Her previous work includes Eastenders (BBC); as returning journalist - Beth Kennedy, Doctors (BBC) and her stage debut last year at The Royal Court in I See You, directed by Noma Dumezweni.

Lots of the scenes between Fiona & Jordan are pretty much word for word accounts of real life conversations that have occured over the last few years. Jordan is yet to file for emancipation - so all is well!

Simona is a filmmaker and photographer from Lithuania, based in London. Back in Lithuanina, Simona used to film for a national TV channel, mainly focusing on documentaries and fashion. Her career continued in London, filming and editing fashion shows and promos, catwalks and behind the scenes clips. She has done a lot of work in the music industry - recording live performances, promo clips and music videos.

Ben is basically Superman in human form. Hire him. He can literally do it all. There is nothing more we can say about him except we think he was crafted from God, himself. He might even be Jesus... THAT'S how amazing he is.
(He also paid us an extortionate amount of money to write this)

Sarah has been working in post production for the last 10 years.  During this time she has worked as an assistant editor on shows such as “Benidorm”, “Flowers” and “Grantchester” regularly working with high profile TV production companies; Tiger Aspect, Kudos and Company Pictures, amongst others. 
Sarah progressed to the role of Assembly Editor on “Cuffs” for Tiger Aspect, and Associate Editor on “The Great Train Robbery - The Robbers Tale” for World Productions. 
In 2015 Sarah edited her first short film “The Girl In The Dress” which premiered at the 2015 London Film Festival and went on to be selected for the 2016 London Short Film Festival and 2016 Carmarthen Bay Film Festival. 
This year, Sarah has been working on several new editing projects, in March she assembled on the final series of 'The Tunnel'. As well as Acting Up, she has cut another short- 'Jean' for director Jim Hampton.

Since 2009 Cat has worked as assistant editor on established and popular series such as 'Doctor Who', 'Merlin' and 'Inside No. 9', one off TV dramas like 'The Politician's Husband' and 'Capital', as well as new TV dramas 'Victoria' and 'Harlots'.
Cat has assembly editor credits for the Netflix crime drama Spotless, a technically ambitious episode of Inside No. 9 (The Empty Orchestra) and the short film The Lost Girl. She also edited the EPK for Mrs Brown's Boys D'Movie and was consulting editor on the short film 'Isabella'.
This year, in addition to joining the editorial team on Acting Up, Cat finished editing the short 'Jewels', written and directed by Ottilie Wilford, which will be making an appearance on the festival circuit. 


An assistant editor with 3 years experience. Holds Avid’s advanced certification, experience of challenging workflows on feature
films and BBC dramas including Inspector George Gently and Dr Foster. In addition to these skills a portfolio of editing work for
clients including Warner Music and Universal.
